Better Days are Comin'

Daniel is a 76 year old man who lives in NYC. He often spends time in the library where it is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Daniel is homeless.

Through today's technology, he is able to communicate with others by way of public computers. It is through this form of communication, we have "met".

For the past couple of years, Daniel has been faithful in requesting prayers through an online prayer wall. His requests are generally prayers of protection for himself and for his homeless neighbors. Life on the streets can be brutal and many individuals struggle with thoughts of suicide.

Daniel shared the following:
"The LORD gave me a great idea. The library has art exhibits displayed from time to time. I went to the resident artist with this suggestion.

What about you put up a mirror. When a homeless person - or any person for that matter- walks by, they would see themselves in the mirror and then read the words 'DON'T GIVE UP. BETTER DAYS ARE COMING. GOD LOVES YOU'. It just might save someone's life."
